I think Fax can afford to lose it and still make the middle 8s, Us (Leigh) on the other hand have to win. On Toronto at this moment in time I feel they will make super league and they will have deserved it. They've been the best team in the competition all season and deserve their chance.

It seems an awful complicated and divisive way to run a league....why not bring the NA expertise in pro sports in to clean this up...honestly,its a bit of a shambles and needs to be taken control of....most of all for League 1, TWP will not forget about our great partners last year in League 1....I think they are a little sick of being the doormat and I don't blame them one bit.
TWP will always promote and try to help League 1...I think we might be the only ones....we even let the Kells keep all of the profits from last year and we are currently helping Bradford get on their feet again. Of course, TWP gets not credit for this,but thats Okay because that is not why we are doing it.

People should not forget about those fighting in the front line for Rugby League; those are the clubs and loyal volunteers in League 1!

You've done nothing yet. You had a Million pound stood behind the sticks at Siddal last season. You have £1.9M stood behind the sticks at Wire this season.

Can you see where I'm coming from. The weaker SL teams will just recruit as they have space on their caps come the 8's. You'll have to go with what you have. Hopefully you dont pick injuries up,then you may stand a chance against Fax.

Ok, they have been the best team in the championship this season UP TO NOW and will finish the top of the table. I think us Leigh fans should be concentrating on ourselves rather than Toronto. I'm going to Toulouse on Saturday and for me if we lose there then we won't need to look at Toronto for them final 7 games as we will not be in the top 4. If we get there then who knows but every game this season is a grand final to us.

Finally someone from Leigh seeing things properly and in the proper perspective.

Here is a little persective for you.


You will be hitting the middle 8's with a team made up of quite a few who was in it with Leigh. Now, if these players were as good as you spout, then they would already be in SL wouldnt they.

Let that sink in for a moment

If you had kept alot of theses players and signed them you would still be in Super League? And you fail to mention the most important person you should have retained, the coach, Mr. Paul Rowley...if you had kept him you would still be in Super League?......Leigh seems to have a very high turnover...there are reasons the players and coaches want to leave....that is where your efforts should be directed. I know its not the answer you want but it is factual.
