From the games ive seen on Sky, the pack have been superb. That's why we don't notice them as easily.

I'm not saying Crooks is a better player than Moon, but I think he's been more consistent that Moon.

For me, Dreamteam selection should be based on performances throughout the season, not just who is actually the 'best' player in that position - it's about rewarding the consistent performers. If you just wanted to choose the team based on ability, then clearly Leeds would have alot more players in the team.

As it is, the only Leeds players who have been consistently good throughout the year are Hall, Watkins, Peacock and Delaney. And I'm not saying the rest have been poor, but they don't bust a gut week in, week out.

Watkins is currently England's best centre, but you are underestimating Crooks' performances this year with your 'no way on earth statement'. Crooks has almost scored as many tries as Watkins and Moon combined this season, he has more try assists than either of them, made more tackle busts, more clean breaks, more metres per carry and has made more tackles. He's also missed more tackles (although not as a percentage vs. Watkins) and made a couple more errors.

He's played consistently well all season irrespective of age or expectation and people are justified in selecting him for this years dream team.

Watkins is a great talent and will start at right centre for England, but based on this season's performances Crooks isn't far behind.

Oh aye Josh Charnley has. I just meant in terms of gaining the second wing jersey in the Dream Team. Charnley and Hall have been the best two widemen this year.

When I've seen Leeds this year, Delaney has been a beast.

I like Brett Delaney. He seems to be very consistent for the Leeds side. I think they do miss him when he's out.

Delaney has been great for Leeds in fairness - he turns up and does the same job week in, week out. He's a great example of making the most of the abilities he's got. The only reason I didn't pick him was that I think the 2 I chose have had a more 'standout' year - but Delaney is a firm favourite of mine - unfortunately his body is starting to show the strains of the amount of work he does - he'll need a good rest in the off season.

Im not denigrating Crooks performance, I think he has done well and had a good season. He has shown some great potential. But that’s what he has shown right now. Potential. A lot of the judgements of the likes of Crooks and Lineham is on what they have shown the COULD be rather than what they ARE. Crooks has had a very very good season for a youngster breaking in to the first team. I don’t think that if he was the finished article, if he was having this season as a 27 year old I don’t think we would see people pushing him for dream-team inclusion.

Centre is a really interesting one as their appears to be a few good candidates. Just had a look at the Opta stats and the best three would appear to be

I think Atkins lacks too much technically both in positional defending and ball handling. He's a big, fast guy, but not a great centre, if you follow. Exceptional physical specimen, though.

I've always thought he do a good job on the wing at international level but that route has been down for him with the emergence of terrific young wingers like Charnley and now Lineham. We've obviously got Ryan Hall as well.

i said that when we signed him, but was proved wrong by the improvemnet and the way he played as a centre. now i think i was right all along, and should be a winger, before his pace goes. amazing athlete though
