Rapana dropping hints in Hull Live he may be a centre due to the rise of Moy.

Based on the respective squads I don't see us winning on Saturday but the result isn't the important part anyway

Would imagine we'll go full strength for the first 40 before chopping and changing in the second half. We should more than match them first 40 and will be interesting to see how the young lads go in the second half.

Not forgetting that Cas have had a few games to blow the cobwebs off whereas we've not (aside from our 1000 point humiliation against York). I'll just take a good hit out and no injuries for a change.

Absolutely the first half I expect us to be competitive, if not leading, but we will be putting almost a team full of young kids out in the 2nd half whereas Cas will still be just about their main 17.

Think we should have the prospective first team on the field for most of the game. Dont see the point of playing the first team in the cup so important they get at least one competitive pre season game

Good to get going again, result isn't important and this is our first game, whilst Cas have already played. Cas have named an all first team squad, while we have named 7/8 still eligible for the academy, so it might depend on our 2nd half team. Looking forward to watching rugby again and supporting Westy.

It's exactly what I expected, first hit out against a team that's already played a game. We've a brand new spine it's going to take a while to get the combinations in attack and defence. As long as we don't pick up any more injuries and get some minutes into the players that's what pre seasons about.

So far for me its showing that it’s our first hit out versus a Cas side that are on their second.
