| When Bradford went into admin the first time I followed the sorry saga avidly, especially with the R.F.L's involvement regarding the lease.
The second time it happened it was more personal, as my club were the benefactors of the mess-up.
This time, probably like a growing number of Bradford fans, I just haven't got the energy to care.

We were in administration for 1 whole day, and copped a 9pt deduction for it.
Extremely harsh.

I think the RFL/Administrator accepting the offer of a man with no money is fairly blame-worthy don't you?

Being an fc fan at that time I dont recall fc going bust. We just wanted to lower our wage bill and play in the nfp. That was blocked the rest is another story

| Yet another nail in the coffin of the salary cap. How many clubs has it now claimed, whilst its proponents tell us it protects clubs from going bankrupt?
Seems its biggest selling point is a hoax.

| I'd like to know the absolute direct correlation between the salary cap, and Marc Green not having enough money to run Bradford Bulls.

| The salary cap isn't proof against going bust, it just curbs the worst cases
Clubs still have to accept they aren't rich enough to spend that much money, if anything it's an argument to say it's too high in the Championship

| Still feel sorry for some of the decent bulls fans who always had time for us back in their trophy laden days, however i still can't feel any sympathy for the tools who took great delight in us being crap and having no fans and not been worthy to be on the same pitch as the mighty bulls, or indeed the club itself, although i do have a degree of sympathy with people who work for the club.
But surely they have had enough chances now?
Let's hope they can sort themselves out again, finally,

If the cap was abolished all the woes of our game would be history - apparently.

| I don't think that wilfully missing the point that the SC clearly, and repeatedly, doesn't stop clubs going bust, nor promote good fiscal responsibility, is anything more than a waste of your own time.

You've missed off Wakefield, so that's 8, but things are different now. Then, all you had to do was be the best Championship side. Now, you've got to be also better than a Super League side.

| Lifelong rugby league fan with absolutely no sympathy for Bradford.
3rd time in administration is a disgrace as it just results in people who are owed money by the club from being cheated. That includes taxpayer's (that's me & you) because ultimately this 'administration' is too avoid paying a tax bill.
The relegation argument doesn't wash because despite being relegated Bradford were a big enough club and better financed than most teams in the championship so should be better placed to live within their means and compete at the top level in that division.
Relegation doesn't force you into administration but bad management and living beyond your means does.
I do have sympathy for the loyal fans who have stuck with them through these hard times, they deserve better.

No. Racked up debts because we spent more than we could afford, rather than breaking the salary cap.

I think we the fans are pathetically feeble when it comes to holding our governing body to account for their damaging actions. As I've said before they are instrumental each time in appointing new owners with half-baked plans and no money.
You can blame those owners of the bulls but we all need to keep in mind the organisation that keeps choosing them.
Another prospective owner references RFL culpability here: seriousaboutrl.com/championship/ ... vival-plan

Breaches are different to cheats. Buying players you know don't fit into the scheme to avoid relegation, and getting players to postpone payments to achieve this, is cheating. Having players on separate playing and non-playing contracts to keep under the cap is cheating.
Your cashflow not matching your spend isn't. It's just sloppy accounting. I don't think Wakefield have ever been found guilty of setting out to flout the rules. They've just ended up breaching the rules by default.
