Bradford did beat Salford. Wakefield didn't beat a superleague team and Wakefield ended up with home advantage. That's not moaning it's staring a fact.

In relation to Leigh it doesn't mean they're up simply by beating a superleague team. A championship team has to play 4 superleague teams a superleague team has to play 3.

It's simple maths. If Leigh beat the other championship teams they have to play and pick off another superleague team they go up automatically. Fairness doesn't come into it it's mathematics.

You've quoted it and it's still not moaning. A superleague team plays 3 superleague teams and 4 championship teams. A championship team plays 3 championship teams and 4 superleague teams.


That is the disadvantage to championship clubs. Which means that Leigh beating one superleague team doesn't change much. They need to beat another (I think they will) and they are up.

Speaking from our experience last year we beat a superleague club but still didn't earn enough points to finish even fourth where that team hadn't beaten a superleague team.

It's not a moan it's a fact. The table doesn't lie you finish where you deserve to finish.

A bit like this year we've been awful and therefore didn't get into the top four. We didn't deserve to be there. It's ok though because that was enough for Hull KR and Huddersfield to sign all our players so they're their problem next year.

With only one upset and most fixtures going to form there could easily be 5 clubs on 8 points at end of middle 8's.

Two of these would be up, two in Mpg and one down all based on points difference. Not sure it would be a great outcome.

Can't see 5 teams on 8, but I can easily see 3. Leigh, Huddersfield and Salford would be my prediction.

The key games will be Hull KR v Huddersfield, Leigh v Huddersfield and Hull KR v Leigh.

What's also interesting is that Leigh play Leeds in the last round of fixtures. Leeds will almost certainly have done enough to avoid the mpg by that stage, there's every chance that Leeds might rest a few or the players could have their minds on their impending vacations.
