30 years old and on a Thursday to Sunday trip from half way on Hessle Road (how much did we drink on those trips) felt a real sense that we were robbed and watched it back so many times since and we were. But it was certainly a sombre old night in the Prince of Wales in Drewery lane!

Fash v Rovers (2024) was Fash being totally petulant looking for a fight, so his own fault. Griffen v Sts in the Cup ( 2023) although frustrating, was Griffen’s fault, he should have just kept his mouth shut and gone off for HT. Gale v Sts (2023) was a careless kick and followed by trying to pick Lomax up. So we can’t blame Kendall for any of those. Can’t remember the other incidents. However, a bit of perspective is sometimes a good thing. If any of the above cards had happened in during other teams’ matches I doubt we would have disagreed with the decision.

I thought Kendal had a decent game last night , Rapana could have easily got a card for the challenge with the knees imo. Thaler took an age to come to any decision last night , Far to long

regarding the KR-Cas game, it seems Cas' players reaction from last week was clear and they had something to prove, trouble is can they do it every week, i doubt it with their current squad, also could be a case that the dobbins thought it would be a walk in the park and didnt give Cas the respect they deserved

great half from Wakey, but Leeds look awful, all over the place in defence, left edge looks weak, Connor at fullback, slow and does not look bothered as usual unless its a decision against him

Just don’t see what many see in Leeds to say they are going to be one to make the 6. They look weak in their middles and Frawley still seems just a passenger with no real impact.

I've enjoyed this game although the Sky Sports + coverage leaves a lot to be desired.

Leeds have some decent strike in the backs, the halves are hit and miss and the pack is aside from Oledjski too small or ineffective, Lisone is bigger than Herman but Herman is twice the player. Connor is too slow to play full back. They do have some cracking young players though (as Leeds normally do)

Not gonna be good viewing in this game, BBC wont be happy either.

Not a great advert for the game for any casual viewers switching on.

20 points in 13 minutes. So embarrassing, good to see some really creative rugby but its started at least as men against boys and particularly when you see the games that have gone before in round one, Salford have a bit to answer for when it comes to our great game being on a free to view platform.
