Well look @ the Hull fc problem now, 6 players tested positive, now them & Salford face more testing & closure for 2 weeks, problems are
When will others show symptoms, have/had any other teams used the same dressing rooms that day & if so when will symptoms show.
Will officials be affected being near when talking to players etc.
How many games will be postponed & will they never play them ? Will other teams loose points, then what about cup games as time weeks
run on ?
This could be farcical yet ! But I hope not for the good of the game !

I think they will have to cancel season - salford and hull will not be able to play for 14 days at least - and any teams that used same dressing sheds etc will be affected . its a sad world

Read on the VT that we used different changing rooms to Hull FC/Salford/Leeds/Saints. So we might be fine, but our game could still be affected if either Leeds or Saints get a positive result.

We used the same pitch though a lot of shedding of the virus could have taken place prior to our game

There were positive tests in the Premier League and they simple asked the players concerned to self isolate. Nothing happened to the league.

The worrying thing here is that we've had only one full round of games and you would expect that controls and adhering to the protocol would be at it's highest and yet there are a number of positive tests.
They need to establish quickly just where the virus was picked up.
Was it during the game, practice or, one or more players ignoring the protocol.

Has to be said this is not great for the sport though and lets just hope that a few players were "unlucky".

I've seen a few "not great for the sport" comments.

If that means it's not great because it might affect how we play and how the league pans out then absolutely it isn't.
If that means that the sports profile is damaged then I don't agree as football and rugby union have both had positive tests before us.

The problem is expense & appearing to be ott, but elimination = reduction of all of any transmission, on a further note, all individual players will now be very, very concerned in order to not take it home to their families, self isolate at home is one thing, staying am part @ home as though your in a cell room is another thing, all the family to into testing & it's invasive discomfort of that testing & re testing !
All this is very hard to control !

No other club have reported any symptons of the virus to date, maybe the problem lies after they left the ground so it's a bit premature to be talking of cancelling the season.

Yes and no. It’s 10 days for people who have already tested positive or are displaying symptoms.

It’s 14 days for people who have come into contact with someone who has tested positive to cover for the incubation period. So the Salford Players won’t be free to resume until two weeks after the game.

All that said it matters not as Salford didn’t have a game the following week anyway.

Agreed on all points but, it also depends on when it manifests or shows etc it could be the 9th, 10th or up to 13th, 14 day then you get another 14 days !!, The virus is no respector of you prefered time table !

To prove the point, people act & think if you wear a mask, 2m does not matter, all the club officials in the stands did not wear masks when less than 1m, eg, Gary Hetherington & Saints owner, Wigan's Adrian Lamb & Chester, so ask your self, Hulls players & 2 coaching staff + their officials, did they have close contact between them selves & then others at the stadium ?
Over the week end, did all players use their own cars ? If they used a coach, we're masks worn & social distancing take place, does the
Driver of the Hull coach- bus now have to self isolate & his family ?
This all falls back to a nightmare & how kean you are to contain & prevent this virus that does not behave now we want it to or restrict itsself,
Only we as a whole can be stronger in prevention but it's a ball ahce be vigilant & carrying out prevention, that includes me !
