I'm sure you've explained this elsewhere but why are we all jealous of Tomkins again? Because he is good at RL? Well, I admit that he is but that's OK, most people are better than me. Because he is well paid? Again, sure that he is. However he'll be retired in 10 years but will still have to work for a living just like the rest of us.

I really don't get this 'jealous' thing. Sam Tomkins is a superb RL player. He is also a tool pipe. He is a modern day Garry Schofield - where is the jealousy?

Hayne is not the best player in the NRL but he has more skill and far more talent tested at the top end of the game than Tomkins has displayed in a league that is average at best.

There was a player that played for a small Nation in the last World Cup, he almost carried his side on his own, that side came fourth in the World, that player destroyed France almost single handed.

That same player won the NRL player of the year 2 seasons ago, he had the biggest impact of a single player for his team in recent memory winning games almost single handed to drive his team into the Grand Final.

Tomkins has done nothing at all at the top level, against St George in the WCC he was shut down, his highlight was a Headbutt and knees in the back of Morris after he had scored his Try.,

Jarryd Hayne has scored 5 tries in 10 test matches (three of which were for Fiji) and Sam Tomkins has scored 7 tries in 8 test matches and yet you are using Jarryd Hayne as a comparator to show how Tomkins is ‘not on the international radar’ at this point in his career

So, to sum up... Tomkins is younger than Hayne, played less test matches and scored more tries. A perfect example of how Hayne proves Tomkins is not on the international radar
