It can be really depressing reading all the negativity on here.

This tournament imo is set to be the best for crowds we've ever had in super league.

You don't see the upper tiers that much on tv, the stadium will be pretty full, the game will be good (the product sells itself), it's on terrestrial tv as well, it's all good IMO with lots to look forward to.

Should look something similar to the crowd Saracens had when they closed the top tier.

I'm not sure you can say that. The projected crowds are looking very good and its all very exciting, but there has only been one tournament in this country that has had the same format as this. In comparison to that its looking very likely we will see growth. But, I'd say its difficult to draw a comparison to the Ashes series (because they were three straight Tests against the Aussies) or the Tri-Nations where there were fewer teams, fewer matches and some of the matches were on the other side of the world.

I'm not having a dig or trying to burst your bubble of enthusiasm (in fact I applaud it)... I'm just saying...

Big advert in the metro today for the half price Gillette offer which is good to see. It has the phone number and the website address on but doesn't have the code on if you want to order them online which is a bit poor.

Ah but you notice the empty seats more in Union as the balls continually flying past or into the top tiers.

Just had another quick look on the Wembley ticket website, looking like most of the blocks released in the Middle Tier have sold out already. I'd expect to see more blocks opened today, escpecially as I think a bunch of press releases from various clubs go out today.

Isn't Middle Tier for Club Wembley members so these blocks will be blanked out on the website as they are not for sale. Like at Leigh these sponsors' seats could well remain empty.
