Wire pretty much strangled Hull with Austins relentless kicking to the corners, making it so difficult for Hull to break.
A huge moment from the Shaul break but enjoyed it.

Well done Warrington deserved their win by controlling the game for long periods, last quarter was good. Austin's kicking game was far superior to the Sneyd's kicking game, Hull under too much pressure. Thought the Ratchford conversion was outside of the post, don't know how the judges got that wrong.

Considering the weather I thought it was a good game .Very tough up middle. Would like to see that conversion again as had draw halftime/fulltime. Was surprised Sneyd missed the kick on 39 min . Not much in that game tbf

correct, if a ref makes a mistake the players are still responisble for making tackles etc, they can't stop playing and have the decision checked so pointless complaining unless he stopped play and allowed one team to continue which he didnt.

Well done to Wire. Wasn't much in it but their kicking game was much better to ours which gave us too much to do. Disappointed to not go through but after 2 recent cup wins it's been the GF win that I've really wanted the last couple of years so at least we can now go flat out for that. We look nowhere near good enough to actually get it but if we catch teams on off days then you never know.

Quite likely, the cash will come in handy though.

It wasn’t though. He put it in the same place every single time and the hull winger yawned, stretched his arms and collected it with ease. A half decent player would have realised it wasn’t working after the second kick, not try it again another 14 times. Bang average

The kicks themselves were average. It was the kick chase & resulting defence that was outstanding. Really limited FC today there was nothing we could do.

I was surprised Ratchford was given the kicking duties as Patton had been going well in his absence. I wasn't sure if he'd missed one conversion, or not. Either way, water under the bridge.

Your correct, as Austin's ineptitude was the obvious reason Hull had a comfortable win, today.

Jake Connor needs to leave hull. He’s never going to win a superleague trophy there so I think he’s needs to think about moving on.

Or Faraimo more likely. He is the one that takes a run and jump at it. You don't want two players from the same team going for the same ball in that situation. Connor is just holding his ground to make it more awkward for the attacker.

He hasn't played well in recent weeks but anyone criticising him for this is being really harsh imo.

It was the 3rd time he did it in the game . Wire kicked to right side corner , Jake Connor made no attempt to contest the ball .

Ratchfords conversion attempt at 51:07 was not converted in my opinion . Harsh call that , unless it was the camera angle as the in goal officials gave it instantly.
