A non-rounded attendance of 14,898 seems about as correct as a non-rounded attendance of 17,873 in my opinion.

I'd prefer to measure success via a combination of attendances and their associated receipts (gate/ticket money) but I only have access to the former. The clubs and the RFL have access to both, which is another reason why you ought to be asking them the question rather than me.

that's a question we have all been asking! the answer is we dont know, its disappointing that our crowds aren't bigger, its been done to death on why our crowds have been poor over the years.
maybe with an upturn in people's financial situations we might get a few more coming in.

That'll be because it cost more than £8 and it was a fixture where the result counted for little.

To be fair, Huddersfield aren't flogging cheap tickets on quite the same cheapo scale that Wakefield are this season.

Do you think Wakefield would be averaging 7,948 this season (still marginally down on their average attendance last season) if it weren't for season tickets being priced at less than £10 a game for adults, less than £2 a game for kids and single game offers like today where adults paid £5 and kids got in for free?
