No it wasn't. Attendance was lower ,11995, in 2010 which was the last season before the cheap tickets which inflated attendances in 2011 and 2012.

The attendance for the Bradford V Leeds game in 2010 was 13,269.

Looking forward to the Wigan crowd at London this weekend.....20 visits so far, with 5,228 as the average gate, the lowest being visit #2 in 2007 at 3,200 and the highest being 10,014 in our first ever SL meeting in London.
Last year, 4,309 came to watch the game.......maybe this will be beaten with the help of RU scouts filling the Stoop to drool over Sam

RLFANS stats has the 13,269 figure. As does the Leeds rhinos official site. I am not sure which one is right but you acting like a tool when its inconclusive evidence doesnt really prove anything.

London v Wigan was the second lowest crowd for that fixture in 21 SL meetings.....thank god for small mercy's

Leeds v St Helens was surprisingly up by about 600 on last years fixture on the same night too. I have to say I only expected about 14k before the game.

Yes but have you factored in the extraordinary activities you have engaged in this week which has distracted you from the thread? During the prior week I believe you stayed in mulling over the RL issues that prevailed, including this informative thread. This week however I noticed you engaged in other more mundane activities (watching Widnes, shopping at Netto and planking at Widnes train station). I do believe you have taken your eye off the ball which would account for the said 6.537% drop. It would be interesting to see your like for like activities in the prior weeks to the ones being discussed. I believe your are purposely excluding them to fit your moribund statistics.

Only you appears to be interested in the previous Bradford regime fudging their attendances. I'll stick with the 13,269 figure reported by numerous more reliable sources thanks.

I'm currently away on business so many thanks for the timely update for all our fans of SL attendances. Those figures above appear correct apart from the Hull KR V Wakefield attendance last week which I have recorded as 6,933 as opposed to your figure of 6,993. The only other difference is the Widnes V Hull attendance in 2012 which I have recorded as 4,644 as opposed your figure of 4,664.

My current preliminary totals for Round 15 are as follows (subject to confirmation)...

Total attendance in SL Round 15 = 53,274 (Avg: 7,611)
Total attendance same fixtures last year = 57,921 (Avg: 8,274)
% drop in attendances = -8.02%

Total attendance for 103 fixtures in 2013 = 873,944 (Avg: 8,485)
Total attendance for same 103 fixtures in 2012 = 998,187 (Avg: 9,691)
% drop in attendances = -12.45%

SL 2013: 873,944 (103 fixtures)
SL 2012: 998,187 (same 103 fixtures)
SL 2011: 928,401 (same 103 fixtures except replace Widnes with Crusaders)
SL 2010: 901,412 (same 103 fixtures except replace Widnes with Crusaders)
SL 2009: 907,721 (same 103 fixtures except replace Widnes with Crusaders)

SL attendances in 2013 are 12.45% down on last year, 5.87% down on 2011, 3.05% down on 2010 and 3.72% down on 2009.

25 out of 103 SL fixtures show an increase in attendance compared to the same fixtures last year.

78 out of 103 SL fixtures show a decrease in attendance compared to the same fixtures last year.

I can assure you that I remain very interested in the SL attendances this year, in particular those of Huddersfield where attendances are currently down by 19.14% when compared to last year, despite the current winning form, the near top of the league placement and the heavily discounted ticket prices. One shudders to field what the attendances might be down by under more realistic form guide and ticket-pricing circumstances.

Why do you only post historic attendances when it fits your argument?

According to sporting life, 25,000 was the attendance on Sunday...this represents a drop of 7,953...or 24%.

That is an EXTRAORDINARY drop.......the marketing Guru from City certainly has made an impact
