ISC did it last year, the supporter and player jerseys being different at Warrington. Can't understand it. Sure offer 'traditional' collars but people buy the replicas as they are a replication of the playing top no?

Agree, the players' version of the home FC kit is spot on. The away one looks like a Haven shirt.

Supporters versions on the outsides, players versions on the inside.

Last year the FC fans could buy the players version - in exactly the same material, bobbles, etc - but it cost £80 (which went down to £25 midway through the season).

The away shirts look great... the home shirts are definately spoiled by the white panel down the side I reckon....

I think it's good to have a choice of replica or player-style shirt - most families would not be able to afford a player one at £70-£80 for each person.

Yeah that's it, especially when you only get a season out of them these days, remember in most of the 90's the majority of teams kept their kits two years.

Barry McKen.... sorry done it again .... [size=200I[/size have a couple of 'players' jerseys and I'll be honest... I far prefer the polyester cotton 'supporters' type jerseys.

Unless you are actually playing the game professionally (which I suggest 99.99999% of the people registed on this forum AREN'T) then you will wear your teams jersey on a social level, either to the pub or to watch the game.... and thats where the cotton blend 'supporters' ones are far superior.

And you are quite right.. the clubs change the designs most years anyway.. even if it's only subtly.
