It is with great sadness to hear of the passing of Sunshine Coast Falcons prop James Ackerman, gone too soon at the age of 25.
I am shocked, saddened and lost for words following the news.
In such a short time James achieved so much in rugby league. Part of the Brisbane Broncos club with their Under 20's side in 2009 alongside Dale Copley, Dane Gagai, Tariq Sims and Corey Norman. Fifty-four game veteran of Intrust Super Cup, most with Redcliffe Dolphins.
