Great article and fully agree...both teams have suffered adversities this season - Saints with injuries and no home ground, Leeds with injuries to key players, players out of position and the loss of 2 front rowers midway through the season - and both have carried on going about their business and really stood up to be counted at the crunch time of the year when it really matters. A great effort by both teams.
Quote ="leeds owl"Got to agree, whoever wins it's real "Roy of the Rovers" stuff. I can honestly say that if Leeds are beaten i'll obviously be disappointed, but will take my hat off to Saints who will have done it the hard way. They've been in the last 6 finals and suffered at the hands of Leeds 3 years in a row so if they lift the trophy they'll have more than deserved it. '"
Hopefully its about time for our Old Trafford luck to change, but in a similar respect to your point, if Leeds can go from 5th to the Gf and win it then hats off to them also will be a fantastic achievement by them. Lets just hope the game is refereed by a decent rule book and not by some clown thinking fans turn up to watch them and next week, regardless of the result, we are all talking about rugby.
