Indeed. Much as I'm a little saddened by losing Rohan, having someone lined up makes it sound like they Actually Have a Plan! Or is that going too far?

Really hope not put on the other thread I got told something earlier, sounded completely unrealistic but that tweet has made me think was there something in it. Was told Leon has put his name forward if any coaching position became available. I didnt think it would be anywhere near true but that tweet has made me wonder

That was my thinking also. Leon seems to have been a pillar of strength to a lot of the young lads and seems its all coming together. Kill 2 birds with one stone with Leons wage?

Perhaps. We'll soon know for sure whether the deeds match up to the words when we see what the squad looks like.

The rumour mill has not got a great track record to be fair, but I'd say there's nit much legs in that one. Id like Rohan to stay, but owners often want their own man in any sport. If it's not to be Rohan I'll wait to see who it really is before making a judgement.

Really hard to judge given he took over a side that was playing the worst rugby I'd seen in 30 years, had money worries and players wanting away.

In that sort of situation it'd be difficult for any coach. In the minus column are the losses to Fev and Workington. In the plus column is that we looked better organised once we got some halfbacks and he was able to attract much better players to the club (Chisholm, Moss etc).

We'll never know now but I have a feeling he'll crop up again somewhere and we'll miss him.

If Rohan's gone then that's surely any chance of Chisholm staying gone. I'd think whoever they get in, losing Rohan will feel like another kick in the balls for the remaining playing staff

Well summarised as usual Bullseye. I think Rohan had great potential and losing him is yet another blow.
The prospect of Leon taking on Head Coach responsibility causes me concern after the Lowes experience - and Jimmy at least had been in coaching for some time before he came to the Bulls. It would be a massive ask.

Personally think he had us playing some good stuff at times, and was excited to see us after a full pre season of his. About Henry how long has he been away from rugby league? Could he be a bit out of touch and risky. Look what happened last great player who coached us...........

AS far as coaching went I felt the jury was still out for Rohan. He has been brilliant during this Administration and he also brought in some good players. My problem was his inability to get a performance out of the team against Fev

Yes, I'm in the 'Jury was still out' group when it came to Rohan. His record last season wasn't actually at that great when you examine it, and as for the Featherstone game... well...



That said, he's been an absolute diamond during this last few months, and deserves everyones thanks and total respect

They probably feel getting a Bulls icon may help to keep the fans. Longterm I do not see that unless they fall very very lucky.

Strange you should mention Queensbury. I remember Leon not turning up for a Queensbury Juniors prize giving.

I agree that might be a temptation like it was with green and Lowes, but Unless the Bulls icon has an established and respected coaching career im not interested. We've learnt thus lesson already. If we're not going with Rohan we need experience for what will be a really tough season, keeping the fans won't happen if a rookie coach keeps getting taught a lesson each week by Dewsbury and Oldham.
