Just read on Bulls twitter feed that the speedway fencing has come down as part of a facelift.

If the Bulls are paying for this work: " A disgraceful waste of money. They should be paying back their creditors, rather than wasting money on this kind of project!"

If the leaseholder is paying :" Another example of the RFL bailing out the "Iconic" Bulls. Disgraceful waste of money."

If the freehold owner is paying : " What a waste of council tax payers money. Yet another example of this council pouring money into a bottomless pit that is Odsal."

Or, for a change, " Well done for trying to do something positive, whoever is responsible."

So everything is a waste of money whatever work is done to improve Odsal, Get a Life

You actually don't have a clue as to why it was taken down. You just wanted to come on here and have a go at the club.

I think you guys need to have another read of that. I don't think the OP was having a go at the club at all, merely predicting what the general responses will be from the usual aggrieved parties - albeit in a slightly tongue in cheek manner.

I wondered what was going on before the Cas games as without the barrier the ground looked, well, more than a bit shabby. Hopefully we aren't just cashing in on the scrap value and lots of lovely sponsors advertising hoardings will go up in it's place.

I wonder why they are taking them down :/ I'm not against it as it looks like they are doing some good work down at Odsal but I wonder what made them do that rather than something else.

It did look tatty even that parts that where not going to be taken down looked atrocious, I read the comments also, when will stock cars or speedway ever been back? never why all the winging from them.

Fence behind the actual hoarding make me think that most of the "fans" who are complaining of pitch invasions have never been to watch a game at odsal or for that matter ever been to a RL ground not many have much if little at all to stop fans getting to the pitch and the only time I have seen it was during the WC final at a FOOTBALL ground, Leigh for instance has nothing to stop fans getting onto the pitch.

Could have been essential safety certificate work, I guess; no certificate, no game.
