Too many high earners who are stealing a wage. That means you Jamie Langley, and you Matt Diskin. Kearney flatters to deceive too. He is lucky that he is at us when we are as bad as we are. It makes him look a lot better than what he is.

What, 12 months ago when we went off to Wigan and won? Last years side would have made the play-off had they not had a points deduction. We have went WAAAAAAAAY backwards on the field this season.

I am not a bulls fan I am a fax fan and I know how difficult it is following a team that's not performing up to what the fans expect.

Patience, its not going to happen in a season or two, re-building is a long long process.

Cummings up to it? Probably not, he's not a superleague coach and needs to probably earn his stripes at a lower league club or as an assistant, but fair play to him for taking the role on when others wouldn't (including working for bog all initially).

Players up to it? Probably not, if not coached well, but they are what you've got at the moment, and its going to take time to build a team capable of performing in the league.

I don't have all the answers and I understand frustrations, but Patience is most definitely needed.

You do need to have an eye on the end of next season, so you don't end up in the bottom two to be sent into superleague 2.

I do get what you are saying but last season at least we had the heart and the fight and the togetherness that gave us hope.

This season both on and off the field we seem to have neither.

Time for FC and OK to deliver. The honeymoon is over and we are going backwards faster than a French Army tank.

I agree in what you're saying about the lack of team spirit etc., but I just can't disregard the lack of Sky money the way you do.
Circa £500k is not an amount to be sniffed at in any walk of life, and in the sport of RL it makes a massive, massive difference.
Additional coaching staff, marketing, training facilities, the academy setup, the list is endless for the areas of our club that could and no doubt would be strengthened by that extra money - not everything is about the 17 guys representing the club on the field.

Until we get the same funding as everyone else we just won't compete with the majority, it's as simple as that. And even when we do, there will always be the clubs with the wealthy backers keeping one step ahead of us.

Of course it makes a difference but it also offers a very convenient excuse.

We are not getting the best from what we have got to play with. We are not seeing any improvement week on week. And we still, clearly, cannot do the basics.

Some of us have been bemoaning the lack of conditioning for quite some time now. Not just this season.

As I said, it comes down to the opinion of whether we are getting a decent return for what we have got to play with. Do you think we are?

Bearing in mind that, Kearney, Kear, Purtell, Lulia, Platt, Gale, Addy, Scruton, Diskin, Manuokafoa, Bateman, Donaldson, Le'Strange and Olbison from todays 17 were all signed and there when we had no Sky sanctions whatsoever.

We just have a poor squad of players.

So that excuses all the errors and the players not been able to execute defensive patterns.

Now you are just making things up. The point I was making, as you well know is that using the Sky money as an excuse could perhaps be taken more seriously if we had a massively changed side because of the lack of funding. We don't, it is much the same side. The team showed last season, in adversity, that it was a competitive side yet now we are a very poor side indeed.

Is it down to coaching? Perhaps.

More worryingly for me is what is going on behind the scenes. There is clearly something unsettling at our club at the moment as the same players that did so well last season are now a shadow of their previous selves.

There appears to be no pride in wearing the shirt.

I don't think it is much the same side at all, we lost several key players during the off season - including three props - that we just didn't have time to replace.

We also lost Mick Potter, and everyone else who was made redundant and not taken back on.

Incidentally, just to be pedantic, we lost Kopczak (as a player) during the season. We had plenty of time to replace him.
