| Yes, it was I that broke the seal for Platt votes. I reckon he has been terrific this season (when I have seen him of course) and his attitude has been spot on. At the start of the season he knew he was a bit part. he could have taken his bat home. Good work sir!

| Lulia by a clear margin for me. Really consistent performer and at times, match winner.

| Lulia has been sensational all year. I was really impressed with his partnership with Cookes at the start of the season. It was unfortunate that Crooks got injured as I'd imagine we'd have seen some great try's scored down that side of the field. The game at KR earlier this season was a great example of how they both tore the defence to shreds.
Kearney is also worth a mention. He's excellent under the highball and his support play is superb.

| Platt has indeed been outstanding. He busts a gut every game and adds a lot to our play.
Kearney has been indispensable, as was shown at Headingley when McGuire shamefully put him out of the game, and my first reaction was to immediately vote for him, he has worked like a Trojan at FB even if there are better natural FBs, but he's been our secret weapon on attack and we are a different proposition with him playing.
However I have just had to vote for Keith Lulia. He has been a genuine gold nugget find, whoever spotted him needs a big bonus, he really is one class centre.

| This was an easy one - Keith Lulia
But Michael Platt deserves an honourable mention for getting his head down, working hard, and putting in some decent performances.

Couldn't agree more. I'd go as far as to say he's my player of the year. Pretty consistent throughout the year, give him a decent winger rather than Shaun "Missed Him Again" Ainscough and I don't think we'd have seen half as many trys conceded down that wing.

| Bit unfair on Ainscough considering Platt's missed more tackles this year.

| I would say Platt has had a good year and filled in well during Purtell's absence. His defence alongside Ainscough has been a weak point that has been targeted by many teams this year though. Nowhere near back of the year but he's in good form at the moment and despite some weaknesses in his game he gives it 110%.

I agree with that. If Platt could improve his positional sense when it comes to defence, then he'd actually make a decent centre. Not a world beater obviously, but he's big, strong, committed, gives 100% in attack and defence (when he's actually there!). If he just not get pulled out of position so much, then he'd be a capable SL centre.

| I think as the year has gone on Platt's defence and positional sense has really come on, at cas in pre season i could have strung him up for stroking in defence but he has really come on. He has worked hard not taken his bat and ball like he could after the rumours of him being available throughout pre season.
I have enjoyed watching lulia but i think he enjoys handing people off more than playing rugby, i think there is more to come from him if we can keep him and let him settle.

| Kearney for me - without him we become a little predictable. His support play is exceptional and his full back positioning has got better as the season has gone on.
It's nice to have a fb that has some attacking flair to their play!
I was i major critic regarding his defensive positioning, but the last few matches have shown how much he has improved.
