So next Thursday, charity night in the Coral Stand. All the players are wanting to flog their gear, they can do it here. Plus the club can get items from other clubs and players.

Add to it bar sales (no-ones working) and its a winner.

You will be asking for money from the same people who are already pledging though, that's the trouble.

You've got a fair few good ideas here, sure Duffy will be glad to hear them.

But it gives them the chance to acquire unique merchandise and lots of people enjoy these types of nights. Bar takings and maybe pie and peas or something could help. Don't think the club are in a position to turn their noses up at any amount, big or small.

The main bore is: you do get something for your pledge.

im a saints fan, got a virtual ticket, but i like picking up random bits RL merchandise so are you planning on getting some of the items online, either e-bay or post the items on here and let people put a silent bid on a item before it hits the floor thursday night. i think you would get more money this way

Good Luck, as a Leigh fan we know only to well how this feels, I hope everything works out for you.

Had several differing experiences at your place, I remember us be thrashed on too many occasions, I remember us winning the odd one or two (although I'm going back a bit).

On a personal level both my kids have played there my daughter as part of Leigh East girls, they were welcomed and treated very well by all, my son decided he would test the welcome to the full by including medical staff as he got knocked out playing for Wigan and Leigh college there, anyway enough of my rambling, but as a sign of my gratitude I'll donate £20 to your fighting fund.
