No your right... Re signed by a successful (debatable) NRL team and he's probably having his best season in Australia, surrounded by mentors such as Slater and Cronk. And he's actually the Storms leading line breaker this year - Would be a bad signing.... my bad!

Was talking to his mum (joanne) when she was over last, when floods were bad in aus, after i was reffing at kings cross and she said that gareth would have a few years in nrl before contemplating coming back..she said when he does come back he wants to play at bulls.

He was approached by the Bulls and others but was to early in is career development to think about a move to SL. Also I think with the new cap coming in in 3 years would any SL club be able to match what would be on offer to Australian players? This might slow the influx of Aussie plays to the UK also, with clubs being able to keep players due to the increased cap.
