| Happy with win.
Awful game and performance from both sides really. Walker injury looks like at least a few weeks.
Sky going in about who to partner Kearney.
Well Kearney is our fullback with Briggs and Herbert as first choice halts. Sky fools.

| I'm happy that we won but we need to stop the mistakes. It was awful.
I was impressed with Ainscough who had a brilliant game.
The try on the last tackle in the first half was the highlight of the game for me.
Hope Walker isn't too badly injured, and someone said that L'Estrange was walking on the pitch at the end so that shouldn't be too bad.

| Just happy to come away with the points. We can work on the errors and mistakes, more unhappy about the injuries we picked up.
Hargreaves and Elima were defensive machines once again, Ainscough was also a breath of fresh air as well and it is so nice having genuine pace in the side.
Addy was awful, a shadow of the player I saw last year. Whitehead was everywhere as usual, but more and more mistakes seem to be creaping into his game.
Lets just hope the injuries aren't as bad as they first looked.

| Fine. We were pish but still won by a park length. Looks close but had they not invented the BOD try for Schifcofske then the scoreline would have told the whole story.
Oh and Platt was terrific tonight.

| Scrappy game, poor quality from both sides - and, as alluded to in commentary, a different level to what we saw with Saints vs Wire last night.
Addy doesn't look like the answer at 6 on that showing, even as a 'back up'. Thought Ainscough was lively, and was alert for his try. Royston started well, but faded later. Whitehead needs to get a grip and cut out the errors.
But I'll take the win, of course

| Good game from Kearney but plays scrum half like a stand off. Need an out and out scrum half pretty quickly. Until we get one we won't challenge the big boys.
Did anyone else expect more from Elima going forward? Been pretty ineffective so far and doesn't play many minutes.
Hope the injured plays get well soon.

| That is one of the worst games i've ever watched in Super League. Very poor standard of Rugby and both team can play far better than that.
Positives
- Brett Kearney, if he was playing for Wigan, Saints, Leeds or Warrington they'd call him World Class
- Matt Diskin, Pure quality again, just what we need
- Heath L'Estrange was walking at full time
- Ah Van's goalkicking, 5 from 5
- Ainscough had a good debut, electric pace
- 2 points on the board
Negatives
- We seem unfit and can't finish a game off, it's only round 3 so hopefully that will improve
- Ah Van, Walker, and L'Estrange's injuries
- We always seem short on the flanks
- Whitehead and Addy were very poor
- We didnt get the ball to Ainscough more

| Good games from Kearney, Olbison, Diskin and Raynor. Addy isn't a 6 but didn't do too bad, It's his first game for a while so still a bit rusty. Looking forward to seeing a scrum half play next week if he's fit!
Far too many errors from the team but especially Whitehead. It seems too easy to score against us sometimes.
Hope Walker and Heath are ok.

| Are any of you questioning the fitness (or lack of it) of the Bulls? A late fight back by Leeds and now almost the same from Crusaders. You seem to be leaking a lot of points in the last 20 mins.

It has to be a worry, but just as much of a worry is the lack of concentration in the final stages of a game. To be fair though in both the games mentioned we have picked up injuries early in the game and played with a depleted bench which obviously hasn't helped.

I think one is related to the other. Knew as soon as Walker went off early we'd tire. Same as against Leeds you can't play nearly all game a man down at not show it at the end of the game.
Glad for the win but it was so scrapy, we were lucky Crusaders were coughing up as much ball as us.

| 2 points is 2 points as Kearney said at the end. We did look tired towards the end but match fitness will come I'm sure. The last two tries were very suspect. Benefit of the doubt is a stupid rule. Anything could have happened inside that mass of players!
Let's hope the 3 injuries aren't too bad! Was good to see Stranger walking at the end but I'm sure he'll be at least a week.
Bring Herbert and maybe Langley back next week and we will take two points off wakey!

| Really pleased with tonights result, good to see us get a win! Ainscough's try was absolutely quality, great to see us keep the ball alive like that.
A bit annoyed at how we let them come back into the game but we managed to hold on and take the two points!
Roll on next week

| Can't understand why Kearney got MOTM tonight on Sky. Diskin coming on was a game changer yet Kearney, who was very one dimensional get the nod.
Sometimes I have to think WTF

| A win's a win after two defeats.
Potter must be doing his nut at our completion rates at times. There were periods where we just coughed the ball up early on or gave away soft penalties late in the tackle count which will mean a roasting for one or two in the video review.
Whitehead is a great talent but he's appearing to be missing quite a few tackles and forcing silly passes in the wrong areas. Might just need a slight kick up the back side to remind him of the basics.
Platt was superb. Ainscough had a decent first game. Hargreaves is another workhorse like Lynch who had more like his usual game today. Still wish Koppy would do more. Potter seems to like 4 props and Crossley and Burgess not considered ready at the looks of it so he's not under the same pressure for his place as some others.
Addy had a bit of a mare probably trying too hard if anything. On the other side Olbison didn't look out of place and went ok.
We moved the ball better this week, probably thanks to the quality of the opposition.
We'll need Herbert back next week if just as an extra body. Pat, Chev and Heath will all be out or very doubtful at best. Sibbit likely to get another run next week.

Losing players to injury always going to cause teams to run out of steam late on. Not sure your point is valid tbh. Walkers biggest loss but means ah van to centre and big chance for ainscough so not necessarily a bad thing. Diskin capable of doing 80 mins and o'brien champing at bit so not too worried about l'estranges injury. Points in bag which is all that counts at this stage tbh.

| Ainscough was great today, even under the high ball - surprisingly. Kearney is trying too hard to do too much for me, and we should just leave Royston as FB and let Kearney play half back for the moment. Platt was excellent and often made more metres in the centre of the field than Koppy, who was awful - slow, predictable and no aggression or dynamism. Addy was also poor, whilst Olbison and Whitehead both showed up well - Whitehead would make less mistakes if he didn't have to cover for missed tackles by others - most of whom go far too high -Scruton particularly.
Raynor did well, Lynch and Hargreaves were both full of effort and determinism, as were l'Estrange and Diskin. Elima was ok, put in a couple of hits but isn't the threat running wide I'd have expected, but it's early days and with two half backs we'll be a lot better. It's an obvious thing to say but I think we're really missing Briggs/Herbert.
The worries for me are the mistakes, lack of organisation at half back (to be expected) and the propensity for forwards to offload either when they're in their own half, or it's low in the tackle count and we need to keep hold of the ball to avoid the other team getting momentum. Having said that our scramble defense was better today and the introduction of genuine pace has begun to make us a threat from deeper positions, something we've lacked for a long time. I'm still amazed how the referees seem to get caught up in the momentum of a match. However, a better team than Crusaders and one who held on to the ball would have caught us up in the last 15 mins. Makes me realise the Leeds result wasn't the outcome of poor refereeing alone!
