Does anyone know of any "organised" fires / displays this evening suitable for the younger age group?

My 4 and 2 year old like the pretty colours but are not so keen on the large explosions. Could be an interesting night....

It depends on the size of the display you're after. Everyone goes for the big fireworks nowadays, in the old days your average back garden display was ideal cos you only had the smaller fireworks.

I'll be going to my local one at Bramley Park with the kids. Its a big display but far enough away so its not a big problem with the noise.

Cheers, would be a bit of a trek over to Bramley though.....might just take the kids to look out over Bradford from the end of the road in Queensbury. Should be able to see loads from there however it always seems either to be raining or just covered in mist and fog/smoke for the last few years.

What is it with Bradford and bonfires? I went to a gig in Manchester last night and as I drove through Bradford, it seemed that every piece of wasteland had a fire going on it. Gangs of lads walking about with wood and sofas and stuff to burn. I didn't see anything like that in Manchester. It's always been the same in Bradford. If its not nailed down, someone will burn it!

Thats why Bradford has so many arsonists, cause they practice a lot. They weren't just gangs of lads they were arsonists practicing their "art" (I suppose a group of arsonists could be called a "blaze"

Typical Scousers?

Did anyone else hear the halfwit on the radio the other day when they were talking about arsonists, that when asked why he had done it, said something like "I didn't know what fire did before. Now I do"?

The jerk would have found out pretty quickly, had it been trapped in a house some other jerk like it had just set fire to.

Assuming it is considered antisocial to shoot the jerk, it should be made to go into a house after a fire where there have been fatalities, and see first hand what a fire can do.
