tbh, from the highlights of the game i saw, saints just didn't care about playing. looking ahead to the play-offs and going through the motions.

but we've no one to blame for failing to make the play-offs but ourselves. should never have got into the position of needing other results to go for us.

I don't think Saints particularly tried hard to win. But I don't think that has anything to do with our position.

They probably didn't try too hard because it was more important to them not to get any injuries than it was to win. Since unless Leeds somehow went down to Salford, their result was always going to be irrelevant to them.

I can't think even Saints would throw the game just so that Bradford wouldn't make the playoffs though. That sort of talk will get you thrown in the loony bin.

Unless Potter wanted to give his old boys a chance in the playoffs.........

For sure. It was all decided at a meeting at the beginning of the season that Saints would screw us yet again.
