Setanta are cutting their NRL games down to 1 a week instead of the 2 or3 they can show. They advertise a minimum of 2 games a week for subscribers. They are doing this for the next 2 months. Apparently they explained to a Wigan fan that they were covering extra Magners Rugby Union games. I have sent a strongly worded email threatening to cancel my subscription if the NRL games are not reinstated. I got a discount on my subscription for a year by complaining but hopefully they'll go back to 2 games after the 2 months.

If the rumours are to be believed Setanta are struggling financially, guessign loosing the foooty wont help and the fact its like watching poor mans sky....

Setanta coverage is something that winds me up. I do enjoy the NRL ,UFC and the boxing coverage and doubt I would watch it without these. Saying that I've got it through the Virgin XL sports package so I'd have to complain to Virgin saying I'd downgrade the sports package (unlikely but worth the threat)

Also find that the scheduling changes all the time so you record a programme say 'The Footy Show' (which is excellent) only to find Lille vs Montpellier for example???

Slightly off topic - I don't subscribe to Setanta but I do have SKYSports. A mate told me last week that he watched the Footy Show on Setanta last week on SKYSports (he doesn't have Setanta either), so I switched it on last night and Setanta was on. I watched a highly entertaining show. Like most things Aussie RL, it made Boots'n'all look poor.
