His Wiki page profile says he is 6'10". That's rather large for a threequarter, maybe a slight exaggeration there.

Mullen did sign a contract extension in October but it was announced he had taken up another opportunity elsewhere. It did leave it open as to whether this was on or off the field however.

If he is joining another club, would Thunder not be entitled to compensation?

Great support player... if you watch him he almost acts as a third half back and a lot of tries seem to come off his final ball. How that fits in with Jack Walker at full back i'm not so sure.

I think we still look thin in the three-quarters and maybe another prop but apart from that I would think we will go with what we have and hopefully pick some reinforcements up through the season.

Wonder if we have made an approach to Kyle Evans yet. With only DFJ and Blackmore as wingers we are very short in that area.

At the min we have Blackmore, Gill, Clarke, DFJ as 3/4s thats it. No cover literally those 4. That back line isnt going to scare my 5 year old let alone anyone in the Champ. There are obviously going to be a few more coming in. Exciting times!!!

The club are fairly sure there’ll be one more signing before the new year. Also that recruitment will continue into next year as well.

Gale will be alright in the championship. However, he will be alright providing he stays fit and actually plays. I don't see Keighley as being much competition this year. They have far too many new players and I don't see them gelling.

Gale at Keighley is an interesting one. Chisholm and Gale both at the same club. Plenty of egos to keep in check for Lovegrove. It will be interesting to see whether he’s matured since the debacle at Leeds. Could be a brilliant addition for the Cougars if he stays fit.

Great signing for Keighley but I just can't see it working with him and Chizzy. Too much alike, both want to be in charge. Could cause conflict.

Leigh used 30 players last year of which only seven were on the books at the start of pre-season. 2022 was still a reasonably good year for us! Coaching and man-management go a long way but there's nothing like a winning habit to gel a team. If Keighley get off to a good start then, with what they've assembled, they will establish themselves in the Champ and trouble most teams.

Leigh is a very different example though as they did already have a decent core of players. They could have fielded 3 different teams and still walk the league last year haha
