The administrator's comments in that article suggest to me that Green won't be in the running as he talks about supporters being buoyed and confident with the three main parties who may take over.

If he has any idea at all about how supporters currently feel then he would never put those two words in a sentence describing how supporters might feel about Marc Green.

The fact that all three have had experience in rugby makes it interesting though. That could still include Green. It could include Koukash. It could also include Lamb because he doesn't specifically say Rugby League. Although he does say they know the players and the game well.

Still a complete guessing game and I'm starting to think we may be surprised by the outcome.

Encouraged that deadline for offers is today and this may all be resolved asap.

If this were indeed Marc's aim, why was he not able to avoid admin by providing the funds to do so? No one can be certain, but he has been suffering a cash flow problem and the Club has long been treading water under him.

I think that sentiment would be shared by many.

bit I'm nervous of is, once administrator accepts a bid he then passes it on to RFL for approval. Thats where it can all come a cropper.

Surely Marc would only regain control of the club if he proved to the administrator that he had the money to run it? But then, If he really had the cash to pay off the Revenue then why didn't he do so before? If the administrator passed on the right to run the club [which I believe is still a going concern, not an insolvency to someone who didn't have the funds to pay the wages then surely he would be in breach of one of his basic obligations? If Marc had those funds why did he bring in the admin?

Somehow, I can't see it being Marc.

Not sure when it happened, but I notice new U16 pictures and (mini) profiles have been loaded to the website at some point recently. I'm hoping that's a sign the academy won't take much of a hit out of this, as that's got to be our biggest commodity right now.

Seems business as usual while the admin is happening, which is surely a good sign. Certainly better than the Guilfoyle days of making everyone redundant.

This Administration is completely underwhelming regarding excitement. Makes me look forward the the next one even more.
From a taxpayers point of view I find it immoral if Greene is going to get his money back before HMRC. Whilst not their biggest fan I tend to think that any money that somebody avoids paying leaves me and other tax payers to make up the difference.

I wouldn't worry, there IS no money, and in terms of a buyer, there would be no point in paying back some of the debt, if the full points deduction still applies, as has been strongly suggested will be the case unless it's all paid off.

Not a word on losing one year's distribution money either, so far, but any new buyer would have to factor that one in.

True but Ross is usually fairly circumspect about mentioning names unless hes fairly sure of his facts. If it was gledhill tweeting it then i wouldnt give it credence but when its in physical T&A it tends to be more accurate.

Just read the article linked to the T&A, must say as a neutral that it actually sounds very promising, unless Green gets the gig (which I hope he doesn't).

Hopefully something very good can come from something bad in the not to distant future.
