Read this board every day but rarely post on topics as i dont get to many games with other commitments, but one thin that is noticable is everyones opinion on Herbert has changed now he is starting to get into the swing of things.

I think to be standing 5th in the stats for try assits (which is his job) playing in a new team on the other side of the world, having injury problems and no settled half back partner until recent weeks, plus with the team strugglin as we have is a great achievement. And testimony to his efforts to become the player we hoped he would be.

The only things i think that would take his game to next level for us would be firstly a full injury free pre season, secondly a bit more of a dynamic half partner (which jeffries seems to be starting to offer) kmaybe in the burrow mould. I do think he could be the organiser we are needing now he is settling and would be more than happy for him to get another year to see if he can progress.

You can certainly tell schools have finished for summer, hopefully his mummy will buy him an ice-cream to distract him and he will feck off back under his bridge.

thepimp007 true that applies to me, I hold my hands upafter the first half of the season i was calling fo Herbert to be dropped for the rest of the season but he's shown he can take apart two good teams. My opinion has deffinatly changed.

Dont think it just you mate, but as has been said now people like elima are really starting to fire and run lines he can do his job, i did think at the start of the season he was getting caught with the ball a lot more than he should ( maybe why he was being touted as a LF) but now he is used to the way people run and chase etc he has adapted to the way they play. Once again all stems from a stop start pre and start to the season.

No mate i work until 8 on a night, i do train when we start at the school when dark nights set in keep threatening a comeback, but think i enjoy a beer watching and doing the paperwork a bit too much now ha ha, take it you were there mate

yeah yeah all 4 of us under 17's and Aiden Douglas trained with 1st team yesterday.

I really rate Aiden, bit rough round the edges but got a massive set of gonads, needs to get rid of that horrible rats tail though ha ha
