didnt empty. but was cold and not much to hang around for as could not hear what was being said, so who could blame them leaving.

The difference is they couldn't hear it. I wouldn't expect them to listen to it anyway even if they could, as he's obviously addressing the Bradford fans, so I wouldn't blame them for not staying for that. They applauded their team and then scarpered, which is what pretty much anyone would have done in that situation I think!

Indeed. No-one could IMO. They stayed to support their team till the end, which is better than a lot of SL clubs' supporters do. Credit to them.

I came to the game only to see Halifax play. Couldn't care less which player was getting the money.

we stayed the full game, instead of sneaking out even though we was getting ripped apart.

Doesn't it occur to you that a lot of the Halifax fax there were getting the 508 home and they are every hour.

Some others were Freezing cold after being stood on a step for 80-100 min.

Some people wanted to get out of the car park before the road got packed.

just because we left straight at the end doesn't mean that we are disrespectful.
Atleast we turned up to watch the game and Many of us paid the full tenner to get in when we could of got in for a fiver. (does that not say anything?)

the game brought in around 23,035 - 34,552 pound.

I've defended people leaving at the end. I was criticising those who didn't applaud when Langley came out of the tunnel at the start of the game. If people were going for the bus at that time, then I reckon they probably weren't watching the match!

do you know exactly where to get the bus from?

You have got to remember we haven't been to Odsal for god knows how many years.

Bus times change, bus stops have changed ect.

It's not about whether you like him, its giving a bit of recognition to a player who has been loyal enough to stay with the same club for 10 years, which nowadays is pretty rare.

Instead of being childish and saying 'i dont like him' you could just make that tiny effort and do what most RL supporters would have done and give a player a tiny bit of deserved recognition.

the internet is obviously no stranger to you, could you not have looked this up in advance? or is that being too organised?

I hadn't seen this thread in full beforeI posted on the other one.

As long as Mick knows he is appreciated I'm happy as he does do an immense job, if you give me a nudge at the next game I'll let you have a listen as I think the system is a real asset, everyone who listens has had only great things to say and thanks again to Mick, Simon Foster and the ex players association who helped make it happen.

Thank you for the sarcastic remark but unfortunatly i have to upset and let you know that i was actually 1 of the few who stayed until after the speech and then went home in a car
