I read Walmsley has fractured his neck. Although the statement put a brave face on it, this is obviously a very serious injury, and it seems unlikely he'll be back this season, or - in a worst case scenario - possibly at all.
A huge loss for Saints and for England, and possibly the game.
In the brutal business of RL, though, what do Saints do? Do we stick with our existing roster and hope the others can make up for Big Al's missing impact?
It’s always sad when any player of any club picks up such an injury. Walmsley is a great forward and will leave a big hole in your squad until he’s comes back. The primary issue though is the lads health and I truly wish him a speedy recovery.
