I'm just wondering if there's any hope of Tasi AND Masoe?

| Great signing is a little OTT.
Certainly doesn't have the same impact on the field as Masoe does, but can play far greater minutes if need be. I think Lama has the potential to be a very good prop in a few years time, he's still very young in prop years and has a lot of developing to do.
He had a really good season for us last year, whereas this season he's struggled to make the same impression, with the likes of Scott Taylor and Adrian Morley both outshining him. Infact, I think out our 4 "starting" props ie Taylor, Morley, D.Griffin and Tasi his stats show he has the lowest average gain so far this season.
As I say though, the raw ability is there and he has shown glimpses of what he could develop into. All Salford fans will wish him well and look forward to seeing how he improves at Saints.

Nonsense. It's a backwards step at the moment. Tasi might turn out to be a TP type player who is a real gem, but we'll miss Mose. The fans that dismiss him as lazy and contributing nothing are clueless, he wouldn't be moving back to the NRL if that were the case. Mose is a unique asset in SL and one we'll definitely miss.

I would agree Tasi doesn come near Mose at 100% - but the times we actually see Mose at 100% are so few and far between that I can understand why people will see Tasi as on a par (I think it's treading water). I have defended Mose more than most, but with Walmsley in the form he's been in, how often are you actually wishing Mose was on the pitch?
I hope we add 10kg to Tasi, from what I've seen I think he's running too light (the wigan small props mentality inherited from Harris). Paea would of been my first choice, but more than happy with Tasi assuming the contracts a reasonable size.

But if the one game Mose turns up for is a Final, then our season ends a different way than if Tasi turns up every week before hand and then falls flat.
I think its a good signing, but we need another prop to put us in the black.

He certainly is lazy and that's 100% clear. Stats will also back that up as some weeks He only does about 7 carries in 80 min game which he usually does 30mins.
The problem with that, is we have three young lads as props in sav, Richards and Thompson plus our senior props in Amor and walmsley. It's not fair to ask young inexperienced props to do his work. It doesn't help the team nor the young lads.
You can get away with a lazy "impact" prop providing your front row is good enough. It's plain to see that young lads have found it tougher this year than we expected due to their age. That leaves amor and big Alex to carry the can. Amor can't walk when he's sunbed as he's run himself into the ground and we are going to burn Alex out with the work we are asking him to.
mose on his day is better than Tasi. On his day he's devastating when he wants to be but that's not often enough. We will get more from Tasi. He's big and a solid hard prop. We will miss Mose size that's for sure but half the time he don't run his size.
While I'll be sad to see such a good player on his day leave in mose, I thnk the team will benefit from having three hard working tough senior props.

| Is Tasi injured? He doesn't seem to be playing against Widnes.
Off topic - Janes child has just given D Griffin a very harsh red card. No way back for the Devils now.

Really feel for griffen with the week he's had. Should have gone in the bin.
