SAINTS have named their 19-man squad for Friday's Ladbrokes Challenge Cup Round Six clash with York City Knights.

Morgan Knowles and Danny Richardson are called up to the ‘roster' with Olly Davies (pictured), Jack Ashworth and Lewis Charnock all selected.

No Dave Hewitt again, you have to doubt if his face will ever fit if he isn't selected for a game against a team like York. Hopefully they have a 7 that runs the show and we can nab him for the rest of the season, that's what happened with Leeds and James Lowes and Danny Brough.

Who is Dave Hewitt? Is he any good?

He was Kyle Eastmond. Before he turned into Kyle Eastmond.

He's quick enough and has a good kicking game, not the biggest player in the world. Will get targetted in defence against a SL side but will only learn what's needed at the top level if we play him. I think he divides opinion a little but is certainly the player who should be next in line as a half back, seems like there may be something that's niggling the coaches to not give him a shot.

If he's not getting a shot v York when our normal 7 is injured, it's not going to happen for this lad.

I think the club will want to take the opportunity to let Wilkin settle back in at 7.
It may be a little short sighted, but it will have its benefits when we get back to league rugby without Walsh for a month.

We should have given Burns a rest, he's been through the mill as well recently. 6 Hewitt, 7 Wilkin.
