Any news on the injury front? I take it J Lo and Wilkin are back for the start of the season? What was wrong with them anyways? Walsh back a bit later, anyone else still crocked?

Wilko was a shoulder injury from what I recall.

Lomax was that a leg???

Everyone bar Walsh should be fit long before the start of the season, which will cause the good sort of selection headaches, especially in the backrow.

Lomax knee ligaments. Wilkins was a recurrent dislocation problem, think the op was to strengthen his ligaments around the joint.

Wilkin took the risk to play as he picked up the injury earlier in the season and was told rest couid help it and could get thru the season and have the op at the end but it went again and needed it doing earlier.

Could be the beginning of the end for Wilkin if it is bad. Same injury that finished Hooper wasn't it?

Not sure but I don't think the is any thought this could be a career ender

Alex Walmsley had an operation that had been put off till after the Grand Final. I know he was a bit fed up with having to stay at home over November (physio etc.) when the rest of the team were texting him pictures of themselves from the beach.

As far as I know the op went fine so shouldn't hinder his start at the new season.

LMS has had an operation also? Don't know what for? (seen his wifes tweet)

Sia also had op and played last few month at 70% fitness

Last report on Walsh was that he expects to be back in January and ready for the start of the season.

I think it's Lomax who isn't going to make the start of the season. From what someone has said on RedVee, he's still got 12 weeks of rehab to go.

Lomax will be fit for the start, barring complications. He won't have much of a pre season though.

That's an amazing recovery for Walsh when you consider what his ankle looked like in that game. I thought he'd never walk again never mind play.

Lomax has tweeted that he's been rehabbing in the gym (whilst everyone else has been away) and was glad to see people coming back. Sounded like he was making decent progress.

Don't forget, Roby has also had to have an operation, hasn't he?

Walsh will miss a lot of pre season, I can't see him doing anything at all until at least January. He'll just be working in rehab from Novemeber onwards.

Walmsley should be okay after Christmas I believe and Roby's op was just a small one so he shouldn't be too long out.

I thought he said January. Oh well. Whatever, it looks like he has a good chance of starting the season anyway!
