| Given the players we have at our disposal, who would you drop in to the 6 role next?
Options that I can think of are......
Howarth (if Roby is back)
Lance
Ashe
Yates
I'd like to see Yates have a go, but whether he is big enough for the Warrington lads running at him is another question. Would it leave us vulnerable defensively?

| I'd go with Yates, at least he's a natural halfback and will (hopefully) bring more than Ashe in attack. Lance on the bench with Yates and Wilkin in the halves for me.

| I'd go Charnock. I think Wilkin likes to be first receiver, so a standoff would be preferable to Yates IMO.

| It would be a bit of a baptism of fire for Yates playing at a venue like that against a side like Warrington. I'd save him for another time (assuming he's anywhere near ready for the first team, that is).
In the meantime I'd be inclined to go with Charnock. If Hohaia is fit he can rotate with Roby.

| Surprised nobody has mentioned Swift, was reading someone's comments before (not sure whether it was on here or not) saying he is the best 6 at the club - or something along those lines. Crikey.
We will see Ashe at #6 given what Brown said after the Leeds match. This would be a poor decision given that he only touched the ball 3 times in the last match. Baffling.
I'd rather see Lance there tbh (out of the possibles). Wheeler should get it when, or if, he regains fitness.

| I knew I had missed a few in charnock and swift. I know it's a baptism of fire but it is only the same as Percy had. My only concern is defence. I be seen the rest and attack does not offer much. Lance and ashes have been caught defensively at times. I included Hogwarts as he will defend and can draw a man. Not a hooker but could offer to fill a role at six. It's picking the least worse option.

| Would like to see Swift given a go with his pace & step. Hohaia wasnt trusted at SO for Hull KR cup game so to pick him Saturday would be baffling. That said im not a fan of Howarth or Ashe whatsoever. Both poor defensively & offer little in attack.

| I think Brown will go for Lance if available, we,ve seen enough of Ashe who creates nothing.
Second choice would be Charnock but is it too big a game for him.

| Whether Warrington this weekend comes too soon or not, Yates should be in the side at 7 every week with Wilkin moved to 6. He would take some of the kicking and organisational responsibilities off Wilkin and could be looked after in defence. Charnock will be in the squad soon enough but I believe Brown is still trying to find out his best position moving forward!

I don't think anyone thinks Lance is Frank Myler, and I feel embarrassed to say he is the safest option. If he is up for it his defence is pretty strong.

Both, Brown will want to have a stable half back partnership and I would agree with him. There are other players that could play at 6 (we all have our favourites) but they were available for the Leeds game (was Hohaia injured?).
Pick your halves and stick with them.

So after seeing Ashe's performances against Widnes and Leeds, you'd be happy for him to continue at 6? I'm shocked at that.

Hohia injured his back in training prior to the Leeds game but I read somewhere he should be ok for this weekend.
