Challenge Cup Fourth Round DrawThe death of ex-Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher changed plans to broadcast the prestigious fourth round draw for the Tetley’s Challenge Cup live on national radio, as BBC Radio 5live opted to continue its’ coverage of the deceased past premier.
The draw was instead carried live across some local BBC radio stations.
This was the most highly anticipated draw of the season, where the Superleague sides join the competition for the first time, and as usual it threw up a couple of all Superleague ties. The draw was held at the Halliwell-Jones Stadium, home of the Cup holders, in front of representatives from all clubs still in the competition.

Could it? We have beaten all the other teams at their place at least once in the time that has passed when we haven't managed to beat HKR at their place. I think this was the worst possible scenario for Saints' chances. We would have had a better chance against Wigan at the DW. |

Under current circumstances Hull KR away is a tricky tie. Wigan away is a near-guaranteed exit. |
