What about Paul Johnson?

I'd definitely take Tom Burgess now we've announced Nathan Brown will be our coach. He knows to exactly how to bring the best out of younger players, especially forwards and I think he would work wonders with him. Burgess is a big lad and has a lot of potential due to his sheer size, he just needs some guidance to push that through.

Replace Hargeaves with Burgess and Roberts your mothers brother.

Sign Ferriol now. Pay a fee for Sargison (£20k should be enough, it's probably worth two home games in gate receipts for them).

I can't see us signing another half back until brown has had a year to work with the current crop. It would be beyond silly to have 5 halfbacks in the first team squad. Not to mention those outside the 25. Orr would be a good short term stop gap , but personally I don't see it.

We all know we are a prop short of what the club wanted anyway so a prop is a good bet, possibly on a one year deal that does not tie Browns hands for the long term when he arrives.

Ferriol Is a shadow of the player he once was for me.
Sarginson yes but Id prefer him to stay at London for a few years yet.

I was about to say the same - Ferriol's old now and I haven't really noticed him lately like you used to. Saddened's always had a bit of wood for him though.

You can talk about Emmit, but is he any better than the players we've got?

Maybe Matty Smith, then maybe Burgess, Ferriol, Johnson...

Danny Orr could give us some experience and direction for a season whilst the youngsters mature

I wouldn't think twice about taking him on a years contract for next year, he's everything that we need and is the any better halve in this country for Haskell to learn off?

He's clever, kicking game, organiser and has all the experince in the world.

Come home lee and have one last year with your home town club.

I think Brown would do it and it would be tough for him to turn down a chance to play for his home town club in his last year.

He might be getting on now but IMO he's a better player now than he was 5 years ago. He has matured very well and improved his defence. Under smith he's been top class.
