Interesting signing .... Wello into the loose forward role then for next season, I wonder ?

Top bracket signing! You won't see many better signings than that from the NRL unless you get a Jamie Lyon or Monaghan situation.

World Cup winner, 4 Nations winner, bags of experiance and will still only be 28 when he arrives as his birthday is April.

He'll play in the halfes IMO.

Great singing, quality player. Probably the biggest name who will come over next season.

Brilliant signing. One of my favorite Warriors players. Proper Warriors that is. Can play 1,6,7 or even 9. Just hasn't commanded a first team starting place this season and will do well at Saints. Great attitude too.

This is not the calibre of player we should be looking at moving forward. I wonder who will be leaving to accomodate. Lance Hohaia was dropped for 2 weeks for his terrible performances. His place has been taken by the FISH who is onhly 18. I can help but think that this may come back to bite us in the future.

He's been a very consistent performer on the international scene for a good few years now. I suspect this means that Pryce is either crocked or leaving.

I think he's going to play 7. Pryce and lance hohaia IMO would work very well.

He's the type of player we need. He's only 28 and very experienced. He's been there and don't it.

I personally cannot see Leon staying.

I think it will be Hohaia with one of the young lads playing alongside him at half back.

On saints site, Royce says lance will used at halfback.

Does he have a kicking game? And by that I mean a PROPER kicking game?

Saints do like there utility players

I'm not 100% sure but my only concern about him playing in the halves is his lack of playing there over the last two years.

I recall call him having a cracker at fullback against the Aussies last year ( I think). I'm pretty sure he went about. 80 meters for a try and got man of the match.

He's deceptively quick, that's for sure. A certain well known video hosting website has a clip of him scoring an absolute belter from 60 yards against the Broncos last year.

Form is up and down. In the NRL they are awash with options and so can drop an out of form player. We don't have that luxury over here really. He could be a dud or he could be a find. We won't know until he's over here. So long as he isn't bloody injured!

Obviously a quality player but my only concern is signing a "utility" player to play in a specialist position. Michael Monaghan a classic example, Wires signed him as a 9 who can play 7 and it took them a season of shuffling around to realise he wasn't a 7 after all and had to spend big to bring in Myler.

If you put together a list of players you wanted to replace Kyle I bet he wouldn't have been in your top 10. That's why it's come out of left field. I'm sure he will be a big success in SL, just hope that he will be playing 7 for all of 4 years we have signed him for.

Overall, good bit of business I think.

I think the form of Lomax in particular combined with this signing means Leon will be moving on at the end of the year
J-Lo and L-Ho combination at halfback !

A fantastic signing, but I think this says a lot about the quality (or lack of) current halves that are available at the minute.

I've never really liked him - remember him stinking the place out in the 3-0 series with GB and thinking he was a terrible player.

Has improved since, mind, and pretty much everyone was awful in that series!

I think it will be wellens, hohaia, lomax, wilkin but would also like to see hohaia, pryce, lomax, wilkin, although I would hate to see wellens go and his form this year has been superb. There are some hard decisions to be made I think. Although the club could have decisions made for them by players leaving.
