Not worth watching. I was very dissappointed with it to be honest. Mind you I should have known it wouldn't be any better than last year. It may improve when the season starts proper but I will not holding my breath. |

i think this is why the superleague show is missing a trick, it has the opportunity to be the best highlights show and get a great audience, but the will doesnt seem to be there |

Think you should check the audience figures mate - for Super League as a whole... not good apart from Grand Final! |

The sports viewing figures were published a couple of weeks ago across all networks. Only two RL events made it into the top 100 watched sporting events: the Australia -v- England match from the Four Nations came 93rd and the Grand Final came above that (but I can't remember which position). The figures were reported in the RL press and are thought to be a bad thing for the push to keep the Challenge Cup as a listed event with the BBC. The Challenge Cup final didn't make it into the top 100. There was the caveat that many of the events listed outside of soccer were internationals. |

What you have to remember is that i would imagine most F1 GP would be in the top 100 non football events. As would many of the Wimbledon Tennis matches. Then you have Snooker and Darts finals on terrestrial TV.
Finally things like RU 6 nations would also draw good viewing figures.
RL's problem is lack of big event tournaments to pull tv punters in.
Our bread and butter league fixtures however do pull in good figures though on Sky |

And that's precisely why we need strong vibrant International RL tournaments, with England / GB doing well. |
