We can't afford to sack a coach, especially with him being out of contract for 2011.

If they said we could sack him if we all chipped in, I'd donate a months salary and provide the buckets. Don't like him at all, he has no personality and he doesn't want to be here, he just lacks better options as no club in the NRL would employ him.

some very strange odds there. kear is the king of wakefield, and rightly so. We have a great squad still so will go ok whatever, so potter will probably see his contract out. At this moment i wouldnt renew it, but if we win everthing and play with some flair i'm willing to change my mind

continued sterile attack could easily lead to an early
departure.

Rush and Purtill mind the shop for the remainder
of 2010 season ,while a longer term replacement
is found for 2011 and the new stadium. Bit like
Shuddersfield in 2008.

Alternatively Saints could start the season well
and he sees out his contract ( an extension is unlikely).

I never really understood the fixation with Potter in the first
place, reluctant to come, lacking charisma , no history
of developing/coaching flair sides.

The first few months of the season will be critical.
The reinvention of Pryce and one or two others plus
fitting in three hookers will be his challenge.

Not surprised but their not particularly short odds either.

The pressure will come if we are not in the top four and if we dont make the cup final.

Our next coach will only become free mid July.

our squad is one of the strongest (bar leeds IMO) with the back room staff and assistant coaches availiable i could get saints in the top 4.

I'd go for McNamara, he seems to have had the boards backing and I'm sure they realize that the squad decline was started by Noble, but this excuse is getting a bit strained as time goes by. So him or possibly Agar to go first for me.

Bit early to judge without seeing the new signings play, but i think McNamara will probably be favourite seeing as he has bought some players and will be expected to do better than last. Thats only my opinion.

I don't think there will be any coaching losses this year. Teams appear to have bought well and had plenty of time for their teams to get sorted and ready.
