We don't do anything "off the cuff". Eastmond was clearly dangerous v Smith and McGuire but not once did we ship it quick to that wing.

We seem to be more Bulls-esque than ever but we don't have the size or the finesse [even the Bulls had a bit with the Paul bros and Vanikolo to beat top quality teams when it counts.

Big job for MP - some of these issues were coming as our great side declined but some, especially the tactical ones, have been made by himself. He needs to find some fresh coffee to wake up and smell and find some bright ideas.

I tend to agree, but the sport is at a stage of professionalism that's means its not as easy to play "off the cuff" and be effective. Slow play the balls and tigher defences mean its a big ask.

Hopefully the youngsters will come into our backs more next year and give us some fresh ideas and extra pace, but i would suggest we're not the only club not playing as entertaining rugby as 5 years ago.

DA would now be out in the press bemoanin the slow play the balls and it'd be sped up. Instead we'll keep quiet and the plodders will continue to thrive in SL.

Pace is the key for me. The rule change slowing the play the ball hasnt helped our game and with a lack of pace out wide compaired to the likes of leeds means we are forced up the middle. Problem is its not as easy to make ground that way on the back of slow play the balls.

for a team that dislikes slow play of the ball you certainly lay on a lot. Oh sorry you mean only Saints should be allowed quick plays.
