We have been beaten many times this year despite being backed by the bookies - I just can't remember when we were underdogs by quite some way (by our standards anyway).

It is strange considering how close I think this game will be.

Both teams are capable of winning if they play to full potential - Saints are favourites by the Sky Sports Pundits but Leeds are the bookies favourites.

Gonna all come down to who holds their composure IMO. Errors will be very costly.

We were odds against at Leeds a few weeks ago. I checked. Leeds were strong favourites for that one and rightfully so.

More pertinently, for all the theories about us playing at our best when underdogs in major finals, only once before, since the advent of Super League, have we been underdogs going into a Super League or Challenge Cup Final; the 1999 Grand Final.

I doubt very much that the bookies saw it that way, we put 50 past them on their own patch two weeks previously.

It was bang on even at the bookies.

They had also beaten us 42-4 on our own patch two weeks prior to that.
