Yes i know it's some time off yet but next season is the time of year that we will be making signings for the following year and looking at our squad, we should be bringing in quite a few players imo. Maybe a couple of big name signings for our new stadium ?

These are all out of contract next season. Big decisions will need to be made.

Gidley, Flannery, Fozzard, Cunningham will all leave The others will stay apart from maybe Hargreaves depending on how many props we have by then. Hopefully will sign Luke Bailey and Greg Inglis by then as well!!!! Heres to hoping.

i wont be upset to see flannery and meli go. KC knows its his time. Fozz and Gids too. As pete says keep the rest save Brynn and get monster prop and possibly Lyon back, but that dream is fading.
I really think Frodsham has the ability and attitude to make it as a prop and by then he will be nearly 22 so might be ready to step up to first team permanently, you dont become england captain at every level because you're average.

If Frodsham ever makes it at Saints as a good prop i'll eat my hat

From what I've seen I'd have to agree but he's still only young.

I wouldn't keep any of them players on the list at top of page. Maybe Moore if he plays well this year.

It will be disapointing if Frodsham doesnt make it. He is very highly thought of within the club, not just by the coaching staff, but the senior players too.

The one thing he does have on his side is attitude and a will to learn, which is a refreshing change from a couple of our youngsters who have a certain "swagger" about them because they have played a handful of first team games.

The loss of Gilmour this season and Flannery next would be too much IMO.

For me Flannery has been one of the unsung heros over the last few weeks. His defence is immaculate.

And I'll eat my car. The only performances I've ever seen from him are where he comes on, almost immediately gets absolutely snotted by Rob Burrow or Sam Obst and goes off never to return.

Most of this I fear should have been sorted this season so that when we move to the new stadium we have got a winning team. I would hate having to go into the new place with a sub-standard team so to speak. Too many old players with experience going at one time isn't good.

Your in a rebuilding process and a lot of problems come with that, yes you'll have a lot of money to spend but so do others and with the salary cap it's not an easy thing to juggle.

Also recruiting players is becoming increasingly difficult, certain positions such as prop and halfback are in high demand and the best of these players now carry a huge premium because of this.

Junior development again is a difficult one, to be fair most kids don't make and as we all know to blood to many at once can be a huge mistake so that in it's self can be disaster zone.

As a Wigan fan I will watch with great interest over the coming months and years to see how you deal with this transitional period facing you, and see whether you do a better job at overcoming it than we did.

I think frodsham is to upright when he takes the ball up, so he's getting smashed everytime.

IMO if he don't show any signs this year then he won't make it.
