My first thoughts, debateable as to if its performance enhancing.....makes you tick like a dollar watch and what it does to your lil man, well.....

I honestly cannot see it as performancing enhancing.

What it does to your manhood is definately not performance enhancing, especially in the bedroom.

The thing is that it's a banned substance so the RFL are doing nothing but following WADA (Or whatever) guidelines.

The interesting point in that article was that he appealed, saying "it's a weight loss drug, not performance enhancing" but the board ruled that weight loss was actually performance enhancing. That could be why it is on the list in the first place. It's debatable isn't it, if you lose weight are you actually better at rugby league? If you are losing bulk then I would say no, surely you will lose power as well, but is it a fat stripper? In which case surely it would be a yes?

Is it not combining ephedrine with caffeine and aspirin (ie stackers or T5's) that are illegal? Everyone I speak to tells me that they give you a massive energy boost, sound ideal for just before a game tbh.

ECA stacks yes.

However, the Ephedrine content in such stacks differ in vast quantities.

Some people do make their own stacks by taking tablets of each individual substance that are in ECA stacks.

Ephedrine tolerance isn't something that is universal though. Some people get a lot from it, others dont get an awful lot from it, obviously dose dependant.
