I noticed his 'player profile' in the programme against Huddersfield, and it got me thinking that he will almost be an addition to next years squad. Apparently, he is meant to be the most talented of the Saints young players and assuming he is fit and ready to go next year, it will be very interesting to see what impact he adds to the Saints pack.

I imagine his injuries have allowed him to do a lot of gym work, might actually work in his favour as far as cutting it at first team level is concerned?

Is this the kid who was injured for 18 months? Bit harsh to pile pressure on him IMO. We don't need another young backrower, so if he's up to it I can't see why the likes of Ashurt and Dixon have got new deals.

Because Dixon has shown real ability at times for a young player learning hsi trade, and will be the future.

Ashurst is a solid player who has not let anybody down but I do think he may be one who ends up beiong shipped to a team at the lower end of the table.

Cheap but capable backup with the added bonus of potential, i suppose.
