Saint or Leeds will banish Wigan in the first 20 mins. of any tie they play in the play offs.

Clarke was waxing lyrical about wigans defence yet they conceded 2 tries against a toothless cas attack whereas saints conceded none and leeds just 1 try against better teams.

To be honest I don't want to play Wigan in the playoffs at all as I think we will struggle with them.

I'm pretty sure we can handle them in our defence but not sure we could put points on them.

well if they beat hull kr you are going to be playing them as i think leeds would rather play hudds/catalans.

We were awful and Cas were worse.

It doesn't make me any more or less confident of our play off chances though. They've always been slim but we have nothing to lose really.

I think every team will be better after this first round as it gets more intense and the prize gets that bit closer.

I'm sticking to my prediction off the past however long that it'll be another Leeds vs Saints final with Saints coming out on top.

It was 18-12. Unfortunately, Cas missed out on their wide to West moment by about a foot, which probably summed up most of their game!

So, what happens now? If Leeds chose us to play in the semi's we will play them on the Friday night at Headingly? If they don't, who will we play? Will be at home?

Thankfully, because we won our game (hell, that sounds good after recent match experiences!), Leeds can't choose us. They can choose either one of the winners of next week's games. Next weeks games comprise Hudds -v- the Dragons and Hull KR -v- the Pies.

My guess is that should the Pies beat Hull KR, Leeds will choose the winner of the other match so that they can sit back and watch us and Wigan pummel each other into the ground. I think Leeds consider Wigan and us to be their biggest threats.

Our next game is at home, yes, and it's against whoever Leeds reject of the winners of next week's matches. We are destined for the Saturday evening match with a kick off around 5.30pm.

Big Clue: Because the other 3 games first 40 minutes were crap?

It's all about pacing yourselves in the Play Offs. Peaking this week isn't necessary, save the energy for the tougher games to follow. Wigan did enough as did Saints. I imagine they'll be alot better next week.

The same can be said for the year as a whole.

Feel the same as a Rhinos fan. Despite the final league placings, Wiggin are better than Shuddersfield or Rovers. We have a poor record against them.

Still think Saints v Leeds final.

Of the 4 games they have played against those 2 they have only won one of them, this would suggest that statement to be slightly untrue.
