We're thinking about coming in the car tommorow and were just wondering what parking is like around the ground?
Is there an official car park, if so is it big and how much is it?

The local school (De La Salle) does secure parking for £3, but there is plenty of parking available in surrouning streets to be honest.

But street parking is generally pretty easy as long as your not arriving at the last minute. |

Or park in Central station long stay car park and get the bus in.
The car park is free and no-one checks to see if u r travelling by train as my mate parks there all the time with no problems.

Be wary of where you park if you do park on the local streets as the local parking nazis go through phases of ticketing cars coming to matches, especially off Dunriding Lane (the street which goes up a hill of sorts).

I'm sure. I was just throwing out a cautionary note because I know that some people have not been fine - in fact, they've been fined! (groan). Someone coming here for the first time might not realise that they have to 'park legally' (the obstruction rule for parking on the pavement, for instance, appears to be applied in a somewhat subjective way). |

| We always park on the roads around St Theresa's school, off Rivington Road. If you get there 70-60 minutes before kick off, you'll be fine for space. It's only when we play the well supported away teams that spaces are at a premium. |
