| Full of charisma and personality isn't he. I can't see how he commands the respect of the players if he's like this on the training field and in the changing rooms.

Daniel Anderson was never much of a talker and the cameras were never kind to him either. That doesn't mean he didn't have the respect of the players. In fact, it's usually the quiet ones who are the most feared and respected because when they do so much as raise their voice one octane everyone sits up and takes note.

Daniel Anderson always had a confidence and a swagger about him. By the end of his stay he wore shades and strutted around like a WWE ringside manager.
Potter isn't a guy who's name we will chant from the rafters even if he did perform a minor miracle and win a trophy with us.

And that makes a good coach now does it? Shades and a definitive dress style? Pity it didn't help in those two Finals we lost.

We didn't win those two finals because Leeds are better than we are. Same as this year will be. He managed to win the CC finals easily enough though.

| Have to say i nearly fell asleep during that interview.
The only bit that was interesting was when he said Senior was practising his boxing.

You don't need charisma to be a coach. You need man management skills and know-how. Charisma is useful for the media, but that's about it really. According to reports just as he was leaving Catalans, he was known by the French team as The General. Maybe he's tough and quiet rather than tough and charistmatic?

Anderson took until 2007 to get into the swagger. Before that, people were making EXACTLY the same complaints about his lack of charisma.

I'd agree, people have short memories, when he has won a few trophies, i think we'll see a bit more confidence. At the othe end of the scale you have Cullen who talks a good game and is a rubbish coach, even given unlimited resources

| That was a simple post game question and answer session for the RL printed press. Journos asked him questions about the game, he answered them.
I'd suggest that he might not have even known the video would be shown publically.
IMO there simply wasn't any need in that situation for charisma. He was there to fulfil has media obligations, the journos were there to fill their column inches with a few quotes.
