Going down to Wembley this Saturday,,,What are the prices like down there,,,,,?.I know could be on the steep side,but what were you paying last season,,,Ale and food....BTW,,only asking cos saints were there last year....

Ruddy expensive for both ale and food. The food was poor as well.

someone i know went down there for a concert by Oasis and they said they were charged £4 for a bottle of beer,,,,thought they were winding me up but looks like i might have to get my ale in on the way down,,,,.

Don't bother or leave what you buy on the coach. They search your bags for bottles and stuff so it's likely you'll just get it taken off you. Can't even take a plastic bottle of water into the place. And the food is just hot dogs and stuff sold at booths or at counters within the stadium, not many of either and its over-priced and very limited. The stadium is set in a big industrial estate so don't be disappointed when you have to wait until 1.00pm for the stadium to let you in and all you can do is wander up and down a concrete concourse! It's the most souless place to hang around. I hope they do a better job of the Olympic stadium because from the outside, Wembley's an embarrassment. However, once you get to your seat, everything changes!

I took my own food and drink down with me. Left enough on the coach for the return journey. It's the cheapest option and you're more likely to enjoy the food that way!

its about as expensive as saints,that said they have a machine that pulls 6 pints! Its immense, i had to order 6 it was like some sort of rule! Not a cheap round though!

Ah Well,,,As a lover of the game,,,,and a 1st visit to the *New Wembley*,,,I will still go down just to watch TGG....

The Prices ain't as bad as I thought they would be.

Take cans and have few beers outside if it's sunny then get few beers inside.

Enjoy your day - dont let these tight wads put you off - its only expensive if you let it bother you, just take your wallet full to the brim, go to a couple of the local pubs visit a local chippy and get a pint or two on the ground - and dont be too dissapointed that Saints arent there - good luck

Everything inside the stadium is silly prices, I personaly would not buy food or ale inside the ground. Look at being inside teh stadium as 2 hours of the ale/food... I am sure most people stock up their ale levels outside, before and after the game. BUT I am sure a giddy fan will get carried away and buy plenty of ale inside.

If you go to the Green Man pub they have had a BBQ the past few years which is cheaper than the food in the ground and the food is decent.

It's all very very expensive.

Sorry, I was talking about inside the ground. The Green Man pub didn't seem that much more expensive than St Helens.
