with all the doom and gloom, and unrealistic expectations of a section of our fans, i thought i'd start a thread on the positives from last night. Lomax had a very good game, his kick on the fly was great followed by a great chase. Longy's back and was better than i expected after such a long lay off. Meli has found some form, which is nice. Scott Moore was brilliant not only has he improved massively in his distribution, but his kicking game is pretty good too, this will give us another attacking option next year. We have two international class props coming back for our next game, which is also nice. Its not all bad people, come on!

is it unrealistic to expect a top of the table side to play good rugby against a bunch of school kids ? there's no positives as far as I'm concerned only a bad feeling that we are going the same way as Bradford.

The biggest worry I'd have if I was a Saints fan is that teams will no longer think they have no chance against you, before many teams may have lost the game before they started, think that's gone now.

If a team plays you in the play off's the fear of playing a big club is not there, I'm not saying they won't respect you, and know it will be tough, but they will not fear you, you are beatable.
