Disgraceful high shot on lomax. Jonny was lucky he wasn't badly injured. i hope the disciplinary don't bottle because they've got a game at wembley next week. to even plead his case was shocking should have accepted his punishment.

it was a high shot but to be fair Lomax was halfway to the floor when contact was made, it wasnt malicious or nasty.

If Lomax was stood up it would have hi him round the shoulder

Lomax was already falling, nothing in it at all, it was border line if it was even a penalty. He seemed to hit him with his chest, although i will watch it again when i get chance, couldn't really tell proper on the screen.

Lomax knee was on the ground before Finnigan made any contact purely accidental.

He caught him high, but Lomax was falling. It was a shame he caught him badly and it hurt the lad, but I don't think it was particularly malicious.

It was a penalty yes, but no different to Cunninghams earlier in the game which went un-penalised.

Only reason he will miss the final is if he isnt picked, the RFL will look at that and not even send him a warning letter.

Simple fact, he caught Lomax in the face, not saying there was any malice but even if accidental, it's still a penalty.

So why wasnt Cunningham penalised when Kirmond went down in the first half? He copped it in the face then too, but no penalty...

I could pick at least two or three penalties a game that Tomkins gets away with.

Fine to me, shudds geezer who is a rubbish player anyways, even at his other rubbish clubs, went in with a fierce challenge and unfortunate for Lomax he was going down, if he had stayed upright I think it would have been a belting hit and AGAIN would have lifted the shudds team. I do think we should all react to it like the shudds fans did to the Tony P tackle of Lowly Lolesi, were it was an abortion of an incident, were Tony drove the head,neck and spine of Loleis into the ground and turned him into ground pepper..even the video replay still had them reeling and wanting the head of Tony P, and informing us that it was the exact same tackle that Scruton did on KC and that resulted in a red card and a ban for Scruton.

I think the punishment is already served: a line-relieving penalty and Finnigan, worried about missing the CC, mindful to try to avoid such a tackle again. The biggest crime of all is that mini pony tail he sports. Surely an offence?
